Avtim Connect
One connectivity layer for the exchanges you trade. Spot and perpetual markets, one contract for orders, fills, positions and market data, written in Rust and used daily by our own strategies.
What Connect does
- One order model for every venue. Place, amend and cancel with the same call; venue quirks live inside the adapter, not in your strategy.
- Maker-only by default. Post-only semantics where the venue has them, emulated where it does not, so a quote never crosses the book by accident.
- Private streams, never polling. Orders, fills, positions and balances arrive over the venue's private WebSocket. REST is used for cold start and reconciliation only.
- Order entry over WebSocket where available. The order does not pay for a new HTTP request and a fresh signature on venues that support session login.
- Rate budgets per venue, per account. Weighted request limits are tracked locally, so a burst of cancels does not get the key banned.
- Clock offset per venue, measured continuously. Signed requests stop failing on skew, and every event carries our own receive timestamp next to the venue's.
- Batch operations. Grouped place and cancel where the venue offers it, with the per-batch limits encoded.
Venues
Every adapter follows the same contract and the same test suite. The status column is honest: production means our own money runs through it every day.

Early access, and what it means
Connect is the library our own strategies run on. We open it to a small number of outside teams at a time, because every new venue account surfaces edge cases we want to fix once, properly. Early access includes the crate, the adapters for the venues you trade, the test harness, and direct access to the engineers who wrote it.
