Infrastructure for trading teams that count in milliseconds.
Avtim builds the layer between a strategy and the exchange: connectivity, market-data tools and fleet operations. We run our own proprietary strategies on the same stack, so the gaps get found by us before they reach you.
A free account gives you latency history, alerts and an API key. No card, no trial clock.

Products
Each product started as something we needed for our own trading and kept because it worked.
Avtim Connect
One connectivity library for spot and perpetual markets on seven exchanges. Maker-only semantics, private streams, per-venue rate budgets.
About Connect LiveAvtim Latency Monitor
Public endpoints of sixteen venues probed every minute. Connect time and request time kept apart, history and alerts with an account.
Open the monitor In developmentAvtim Screener
Spreads, turnover and funding rates across venues, refreshed every ten minutes. Filters, export and alerts with an account.
About Screener By requestAvtim Fleet
An operations console for a fleet of trading servers: tiles, roles, watchdogs, Telegram notifications and an emergency stop.
About FleetHow we work
- Every number is measured, not quoted.Exchange documentation tells you what should happen. We timestamp what does happen, at the network card, and keep the series.
- Pay once and pay per order are kept apart.Connection set-up, TLS, session login are paid once. Signing, serialisation and the round trip are paid on every order. Mixing the two hides where the time goes.
- Public tools use public data only. The Latency Monitor and the Screener read endpoints anyone can read, with a user agent that names us. Nothing from our trading accounts leaks into them.
Research
What we learn while connecting to venues, written down so the next team does not have to find it twice.
Where the matching engines live, and why most of crypto now sits in Tokyo
A trading server's most important setting is its location. Venues do not advertise where their matching engines run, but enough is public to draw the map. As of autumn 2026 it has one centre of gravity.
Pay once, pay per order: where the time actually goes between you and a venue
A trading connector spends time in two very different ways. Some costs are paid once per connection; some are paid on every order. Mixing them is the most common reason latency work goes nowhere.
Order controls across seven venues: time in force, reduce-only, self-trade prevention and the dead man's switch
Beyond price and size, an order carries a handful of controls that decide what happens when things go wrong. Which ones exist on which venue decides how much of your safety has to live in your own code.
